Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Trading Hearts Productions LLC (“Trading Hearts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Trading Hearts platform, websites, and content-publishing tools (the “Service”), including tradinghearts.com and tradinghearts.productions. Trading Hearts is a living knowledge and entertainment platform featuring original, character-led stories, videos, and history.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information you provide to use our tools — such as name, email address, and access credentials (e.g., a personal sign-in code).
- Content you upload or create in the Service — including documents, images, video, copy, and related material.
- Connected social accounts. When you connect a social account (for example Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, or YouTube) so the Service can publish on your behalf, we receive and store the authorization tokens and account identifiers those platforms provide via their official login (OAuth) flows. We use them only to perform the publishing actions you approve.
- Usage and device data — such as log data, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and interactions with the Service, collected to operate and secure the platform.
- Payment information. If you purchase a subscription or product, payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (PayPal). We do not collect or store full card numbers.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to understand and improve usage.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and its content-publishing features.
- To publish, schedule, and manage content to the social accounts you have connected and explicitly approved.
- To measure and improve performance, reliability, and content.
- To communicate with you about the Service, security, and support.
- To protect the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
- Connected platforms. When you publish through the Service, the relevant content is transmitted to the social platform(s) you selected, subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
- Service providers. Hosting, storage, database, and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate obligations.
- Payment processor. PayPal, to process transactions you initiate.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Trading Hearts, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
3A. Requests from Public Authorities
Effective 23 September 2026, Trading Hearts Productions LLC, United States, applies the following procedures to requests from public authorities for personal information, including data received from Meta. Salvador Palma, CEO, is responsible for enforcing these procedures and approving any disclosure following the required review.
- Required legality review. Before disclosing information, we review the requesting authority, legal basis, jurisdiction, validity and scope of the request, with qualified legal counsel where needed. We do not disclose information solely because a request has been received.
- Challenging unlawful requests. Where a request is considered unlawful, we challenge it through available lawful procedures, seeking clarification, narrowing, withdrawal or judicial review as appropriate, with legal counsel where needed.
- Minimum necessary disclosure. We disclose only the minimum information legally required in response to a valid request, limiting the people, records, data fields and time period covered and excluding unrelated information.
- Documented decisions. We securely document the request, the requesting authority and other actors involved, the legal reasoning and review, any challenge, the decision and approver, our response, and the information disclosed or the reason for refusal. Access to these records is restricted to authorized personnel; retention follows applicable legal, security and operational requirements.
4. Third-Party Platforms
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (including Meta/Instagram/Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and PayPal) through their official APIs. Your use of those integrations is also governed by the respective platform’s terms and privacy policy, and our use of their data complies with their platform policies and developer terms.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate legal, security, and operational purposes. You may disconnect a linked social account at any time, which revokes our stored access for that account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at the address below, or use the in-app account controls where available. We will respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. International Users
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
